LET'S DO THIS!

We would like to raise funds for Mind, which is a charity very close to our hearts.

Mental health is a very relatable subject and something that has directly affected our lives.

It's been almost 12 months since we lost our mate Marky boy and not a day goes by that we don't think about him.

In his honour, my wife Lara and I have set ourselves a 24 hour cycle challenge.

This will take place in our home on the morning of 24th June 2023 and will finish on 25th June.

We are using a stationary Concept 2 bike with a 'You Go I Go' method.

This involves a 30 minute stint then swap (30 minutes on, 30 minutes off), meaning the bike will constantly be moving for the duration of the 24 hour period. So that's 24 x 30 minute stints each, 12 hours of work per person.

We are running a competition to guess the overall distance covered.

The closest guess will win a £100 CASH!!!!

This will be funded by ourselves, not donations.

For every individual donation £10 or above you will be entered, so please ensure your name, along with the distance is added to the ‘Add a message’ page. (This is really important so that we can pick a winner)

The distance needs to be in km but we would recommend making it a unique figure using metres also.

In case of any technical issues, we will be taking regular pictures of the distance we have covered.

We will be posting pictures in the build up to the day and plan to live stream so that people can drop in on us at any hour.
