This summer, a colourful colony of penguins will be landing in Southend as part of Waddle on Sea—a joyful public art trail created to raise awareness and vital funds for Havens Hospices.

We’re proud to be one of the sponsors of this exciting event, and we’re getting fully behind the charity to help raise money for their essential care services.

On Saturday 19 July, our team will be taking on a sponsored penguin trek along Southend’s seafront—passing many of the penguin sculptures, including our own—raising money for the incredible people and services that make up Havens Hospices. Their specialist, free care supports people of all ages living with incurable conditions, helping not only patients but also their families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

Public art events like Waddle on Sea don’t just brighten the town—they bring people together, celebrate creativity, and make a real difference to the local community. Every donation supports the expert medical, emotional and practical care that Havens provides—at their hospices and in homes across Essex.
