In loving memory of a wonderful dad, husband, grandfather, stepfather, friend and confidant to many. Ray always liked being there for people. What mattered most to him was helping others — and in doing so, he gained just as much from those relationships as he gave.

During his fight with cancer, he showed such resilience, tenacity, and an unwaveringly positive outlook. He received stellar treatment, but just as importantly, he formed further friendships with the nurses and doctors who cared for him remaining in high spirits, always smiling, always sharing stories of his life experiences. Even in the difficult moments, he remained positive.

He left the room so quietly and peacefully that it is still hard to believe he has gone.

We are raising funds for the charity HASAG (who help and support those affected by mesothelioma) who are invaluable to so many people dealing and having to cope with a diagnosis.
