London to Amsterdam 2025
Campaign by GroceryAid (RCN 1095897)
On Wednesday 3rd September 2025, 180 grocery colleagues will be cycling from London to Amsterdam raising awareness and vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.

Story

Our Challenge:

We’re cycling 350km from London to Amsterdam over three days: five riders with mixed abilities, minimal training, and enthusiasm that definitely outpaces our fitness. The route: Day 1’s hills will remind us why we don’t do this every day. Day 2 and 3? Our sore legs will carry us through the Dutch countryside. Fuelled by determination, a great cause, and the promise of stroopwafels at the finish.

Meet the team!

Team Leads:

Darcy Pearce + Rachel McKee: These two heroes weathered the storm of London to Brussels 2024.

Current status of the rest of the team:

Amy Boret: Thinks she is Bradley Wiggins

Ben Marshall: Doesn't own a bike

Laura Walker: Averaging 1 cry per bike ride

Why Grocery Aid?

We’re proud to be supporting GroceryAid – a charity that provides emotional, practical, and financial support to people across the grocery industry. Whether someone is facing a crisis, dealing with mental health challenges, or simply struggling to make ends meet, GroceryAid is there to help.

From factory workers to store colleagues, supply chain teams to head office staff – this charity supports the full spectrum of people who keep the nation fed.

By fundraising for GroceryAid, we’re helping to ensure that no one in our industry has to face life’s toughest moments alone. Every donation makes a real difference.

We massively appreciate anyone who can donate. Every donation, big or small, gets us one pedal stroke closer to our goal!
