Story
Staff at Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors are doing an escorted climb to the 235ft summit of the UK's largest rollercoaster to fundraise for Shelter - The housing and homelessness charity.
Jenni Shoreman (Associate Licensed Conveyancer) and Kay Waddington (Senior Associate Commercial Solicitor) successfully climbed the summit on 8 June 2024 braving the high winds!
On 15 September 2024, 6 of the team are completing the challenge in the dark. What a way to see the famous Blackpool Lights!
Katy Rider (Senior Associate Dispute Resolution Solicitor), Jennie Barnes (Senior Associate Commercial Property Solicitor), Sophie Aspinall (Graduate Solicitor Appresntice), Mandy Prescott, Sandra Hendy (Residential Property Assistants), Ruby Patel (Dispute Resolution Secretary), and Ellie Cliffe (Solicitor Apprentice) are all those taking part in September and we wish them the best of luck.
Home is a human right, yet every day millions of people are being devastated by the housing emergency. Shelter exist to defend the right to a safe home. 'Because home is everything.'
For every £1 donated; 79p is spent directly on helping people through advice, support and campaigning, and 21p is spent on further fundraising to drive change and make sure the charity is there for those who need it.
Thank you for your support.
