Story
310 kilometres. 31 days. One mission: to raise awareness for mental health and support those who need it most.
This August, I’ll be running 10 kilometres every single day - totalling 310km in 31 days, just over 7 & 1/2 marathons.
Mental health is something I’ve struggled with - it’s likely most people reading this have also had their own personal battles - raising money for this charity is close to home and something I’ve wanted to do for a while. Recently one of my younger my siblings lost a friend and these heartbreaking circumstances gave me the push to do something impactful. If this challenge can help even one person reach out for support or start one important conversation, every kilometre will be worth it.
Throughout the month I’ll be sharing every run on strava, TikTok and social media documenting the highs, the lows, and everything in between to raise awareness, encourage conversations about mental health, and inspire others to get involved.
On the 31st August, I’ll finish my final 10K at The Langford Inn pub, where we’ll be bringing the community together for a massive fundraising event with a BBQ, live music, a raffle, games and more.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps support the incredible work this charity does. If you can’t donate, sharing this page or following the journey is just as appreciated.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can raise awareness, start conversations, and make a difference.
