Story
The Snowdonia crossing will involve covering a distance of 125km in just 3 days by bike, hike and kayak, with the goal to raise as much money as possible for the amazing Clock Tower Sanctuary which is a one of a kind service supporting young people in Brighton & Hove experiencing homelessness.
This day centre provides a safe and welcoming environment for young people to come and access vital practical and emotional support. We are open 5 days a week offering a place to eat or take away a hot meal, wash clothes, have a shower, meet friends, attend activities and get support from the amazing team of staff and volunteers. We are also committed to supporting people out of crisis, connecting them with other services in Brighton and offering structured one-to-one support so they can move to a place of stability.
Working here I have seen the difference a service like this can make to young people in all different kinds of situations, and feel very lucky to be part of the team. As Clock Tower receives no statutory funding, it relies on fundraising events and donations from generous individuals and organisations to continue doing they work they do. So please consider donating, even if it's just a few quid, to directly support the young people of Brighton and Hove.
£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes and eat a healthy, hot meal.
£20 can pay for a new pair of shoes or clothing for a job interview or first day of work.
