I am excited to share that I will be participating in the upcoming Kingston Dragon Boat Festival 2024 on 21 July to raise funds for Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) - a local charity that is close to my heart. This incredible organisation tirelessly works to provide essential services to fellow Kingstonians who need it most.

It has been many years since KCAH has taken part in Kingston's Dragon Boat races but as of 21 July 2024 we want to make this an annual tradition!

The urgency of our cause cannot be overstated - with homelessness up 30% in London, and 10+ new individuals seeking help from KCAH every week, the need for support has never been greater.

The Dragon Boat Races in Kingston present an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing housing crises. By sponsoring our team, your money will go directly to KCAH, enabling the long-standing charity to address the pressing issue of homelessness in our local community.

KCAH has seen the number of individuals presenting to its housing crisis centre in Norbiton almost double, an increase of 88% in the past two years (as of spring 2024). The steep rise is being attributed to multiple factors including the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
