I’m running my first half marathon in memory of Zohar to raise funds for The Zohar Dean Trust 💜

It’s been nearly three years since Zohar passed away and our world came crashing down. As a lot of you will know, Zohar was a talented youth leader who touched the lives of so many in his short time here with us. It has been such a source of comfort in my grief to continue his legacy through the Trust, supporting young people from a variety of different backgrounds to have life changing experiences, whether that be fostering community for young asylum seekers, funded work placements for disadvantaged young people, or bursaries for youth groups.

Our grant applications for the next fundraising year are currently open if you know of any grassroots charities who would like to receive a grant from us - just head to our website to apply! Any donation big or small would mean the world so we can continue Zohar’s impact and help young people in need 💜.

We all miss you so much Zohar, I'll be thinking of you (probably laughing at me) as I trudge through those last few painful kms in the half marathon. My heart is forever broken but I feel your light shining through the cracks. From the sunny sky on my face to the smiles on those you loved, I promise your legacy lives on in us all xx
