Story

Upper Warden Barry Maunders and Past Master Martin Muirhead are undertaking the inaugural Pan Livery Gravel Bike Ride on Saturday 2 September to raise funds for the Masters Charity 2023 – The Dogs Trust.

This is a great opportunity to sponsor Barry & Martin and to raise a substantial sum for the Masters Charity, Please give generously!!!!!!

The Pan Livery Gravel Bike Ride is 54km of off road cycling along with 1,200 feet of uphill elevation, it’s called a Gravel ride as that’s what the surface is…Gravel!

Cycling Gravel is a lot harder than smooth tarmac so expect to see an exhausted pair of Horners at the finish line.

The route takes in a mixture of small country lanes interspersed with hidden bridleways and byways including sections of The Essex Way and Flitch Way around Essex. .

Every pound raised is donated to the Horners Charity who at the end of the year will present a cheque to The Dogs Trust at next years Installation lunch on 2 February 2024, so please support generously.
