Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for Parkinson's as this disease desperately needs a cure. This has a personal meaning to me, as my brother David suffered from it & I know other people who sadly are affected by this condition. A cure is well overdue.

After some health issues of my own, I'm finally in a position to train for a marathon again, a lot of people aren't fortunate enough to be able to run & spend time outdoors as they used to, and I'm very conscious of that. If I can help in my way by raising some funds towards research for Parkinson's, then every bit helps.

Training hasn't exactly gone to plan thanks to yet another dose of Covid, meaning most of my long training runs didn't happen & just a few days out & it still hasn't totally gone off my chest, so it looks like a survival run this Sunday instead of going for a time!
