🚣‍♀️ Ignite Fitness Dragon Boat Challenge for Blue Skies 💙

Our Ignite Fitness team is taking on the Dragon Boat Race to raise money for an incredible local charity — the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund.

We’ll be swapping our gym sessions for paddles as we race across the water, competing against other teams while raising money for a fantastic cause. It’s going to be a fun, high-energy day — but more importantly, it’s all about supporting patients and families in our local hospitals.

Blue Skies is the official charity for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The charity raises vital funds to enhance patient care, support medical research, and improve the hospital experience for people across Blackpool, Lancashire and beyond. Donations help fund equipment, facilities, and projects that go above and beyond what standard NHS funding can provide — making a real difference to patients and their families every single day.

Our team goal is £850 per boat, and with four boats racing, we’re determined to raise as much as possible.
