John Muir Way in a Day · 19 August 2023

Using a fleet of liveried Motorcycles and car, we offer a free of charge transport service to the NHS as a way of ‘giving something back’. Our service is run by volunteers in their own time. #itswhatwedo. We are 100% Voluntary and every penny raised goes directly into helping the NHS.

Story

The Challenge

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have been a member of Blood Bike Scotland since July 2021 and have decided to do a spot of fundraising for what I feel is a fantastic charity. To inspire you to donate, I will be cycling all of the John Muir Way in one day. That's Helensburgh on the West Coast to Dunbar on the East coast in one go.

Blood Bikes Scotland

Blood Bike Scotland specialise in moving small urgent items for the NHS, either between sites or to patients' homes. We support NHS staff in primary and secondary roles in all weather, all year round and always with a smile.

We receive no funding from the NHS or the Government and are kept on the road solely through charitable donations with 100% of our members volunteering on a unpaid basis.

Whatever you donate goes a long way to keeping our bikes on the road delivering vital equipment, samples and medication across NHS Lothian, Borders, Fife and Tayside.

Thank you
