With my step-son, Henry Hogan, dragging me along, I am running an Ultra-Marathon in Morocco, at the foot of the Atlas mountains, on Sunday 5th November.

I am doing it for Horseback UK, an incredible charity that uses horses (including ex-racehorses) as part of supporting amazing veterans and pupils that have experienced considerable difficulties. I have personally visited the charity and would like to support them as they expand upon their great work. I was humbled in meeting a number of ex marines who have sacrificed so much for us and also moved to tears in meeting a teenager whose progress in working with the charity helped her overcome massive hurdles.

The race and trip is fully self-funded so every penny will go to help the charity.
