In April, along with a group of around 40 fellow Wigan Athletic fans I will be walking 46 miles from the home of Wrexham AFC to the Brick Community Stadium in Wigan in support of Joseph's Goal.

Joseph Michael Kendrick is 14 years old and has Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia, a rare genetic disorder that affects one in 60,000 new-borns. The condition is so serious that less than 500 people in the world are living with it.

In the last 6 years our walks have raised around £180 000, vital funds that have gone directly towards supporting the much needed research needed to facilitate an effective and long term treatment for children born with NKH.

Any support would be hugely appreciated for this very important charity.
