Story

Marty Flett & Keith Oddie along with Andy McGinn and Bruce Simpson who will be driving, have taken on the challenge to cycle to all Clan wellbeing centres including all the outreaches in just 4 days, covering over 374 Miles. All funds raised will help the charity continue to provide free emotional and physical support for people of all ages who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.

Day 1 - 7th July

Marty and Keith will leave Clan Orkney on the evening of 7th July and travel up to Shetland.

Arriving in Shetland on the 8th July. They then will cycle up to catch the boat to Whalsay and cycle to the outreach there. They will catch the boat back from Whalsay at 12.30 and cycle down to Lerwick, where they will stop and visit the Clan Shetland team before catching the boat down to Aberdeen. This will be around 58 miles

Day 2 - 8th July

Arriving in Aberdeen and set off about 7.30/8am, they will cycle to Clan house and meet the Clan Aberdeen team, then on to Mintlaw - Aberlour - Elgin ( meet the Clan Elgin team) set off again to Lossie - Forres. This will be a 149 mile cycle.

Day 3 - 9th July- travel up north

They will leave Forres and cycle to Inverness then to Helmsdale and stop for the night. This will be a 110 mile cycle.

Day 4 10th July

Set off from Helmsdale and cycle to Melvich then to Scrabster to catch the lunch time boat back to Orkney. Which will be 57 Miles. Once off the boat they will cycle back to Clan Orkney to finish off there trip.
