Racing for Life: Jack’s Journey to the British Transplant Games 2026
Hi everyone, thanks for visiting Jack’s page!
In August 2022, our world changed when Jack was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia, a rare and serious condition. By November of that same year, thanks to an incredible German based donor, Jack underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
Why We Are Fundraising
This August, Jack is once again joining the Leeds Children’s Transplant Team to compete in the British Transplant Games in Sheffield. He competed in the World transplant games last year in Dresden and finished with one gold and two silver medals.
However, this event isn't just about medals; it’s a celebration of children surviving and a tribute to donor families.
Supporting the Leeds Children's Transplant Team
The team at Leeds was crucial in saving Jack’s life. We can’t thank them enough for their expertise, dedication, and unwavering support throughout our journey. Now, we want to give back.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Registration fees for the athletes.
Safe transport and accommodation for the team.
Team kits so the kids can compete with pride.
All funds raised here go into the Leeds Hospitals Charity Children's Transplant Games Fund (5M97).
A Message from Us
Seeing Jack take part in these games after everything he has gone through is a dream come true. Every pound donated helps ensure that Jack and other transplant athletes, all of whom have survived organ or bone marrow transplants—get the chance to celebrate their health and honor their donors.
Thank you so much for your support, your donations, and for cheering Jack on!
