Running the 2027 London Marathon in memory of my mum ❤️

In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon for NARS – Norfolk Accident Rescue Service, and in memory of my wonderful mum, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

I chose NARS because it’s a charity that is very close to my heart. As a Community First Responder, I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to have people and services ready to help when someone needs them most. NARS plays a vital role in providing emergency medical care across Norfolk, and supporting them feels like a very personal and meaningful way for me to give something back.

Losing my mum has been incredibly difficult, but I wanted to turn some of that heartbreak into something positive — a challenge that would push me, raise money for a cause I believe in, and give me a way to honour her memory.

The London Marathon will undoubtedly be one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever taken on, but I know I’ll have a very special reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other. I’ll be running every mile with Mum in my thoughts.
