LET’S MAKE THIS A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER 💙
This isn’t just a run.
This isn’t just a walk.
This is a chance to come together, honour a life, and fight back against a disease that affects so many families.
Alzheimer’s Fundraiser Weekend — Birmingham
Last August, we lost our amazing mom, Alice, after years of battling Alzheimer’s.
Watching someone you love fade in this way is something no family should have to go through.
So now, we’re turning that pain into purpose.
🔥 SUNDAY 3RD MAY – BIRMINGHAM HALF MARATHON
14 incredible runners are taking on the challenge in Alice’s memory, raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
This is more than a race — it’s a tribute, a statement, and a fight for change.
🙌 Massive thank you to Steve & Sam Garrett for organising, and to our inspiring runners:
Steve, Sam, Zack, David, Billy, Joe, Adam, Natalie, Jimmy, Aimee, Jake, Emily & Justin — you are all heroes.
🚶♂️ SATURDAY 2ND MAY – 15 MILE CHARITY WALK
Not running? No problem. Join us for the charity walk and be part of something powerful. Every step counts. Thanks to Craig, Russ, Sam, Liam, Emma and a few more joining us…
🎉 SUNDAY EVENING – HALESOWEN ATHLETICS CLUB
We’ll finish the weekend together with a huge fundraising event hosted by Steve & Sam.
✨ Raffle prizes
✨ Silent auction
✨ The legendary Garratts cob & samosa buffet
✨ Community, energy, and a shared mission
This is where we celebrate, remember, and push fundraising even further.
💙 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Donate. Share. Join us. Show up.
Let’s make noise. Let’s raise awareness. Let’s make a difference.
🧠 ABOUT ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE
Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia — a progressive disease that slowly destroys memory, thinking skills, and the ability to carry out everyday tasks.
In the UK, around 1 in 3 people over 65 will develop dementia
There are currently over 900,000 people living with dementia in the UK
Millions of families are affected — not just those diagnosed, but everyone who loves and cares for them
There is currently no cure.
That’s why fundraising, awareness, and support matter more than ever.
💙 Let’s do this for Alice.
💙 Let’s do this for every family affected.
💙 Let’s do this together.
