Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page on behalf of the St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) which is raising funds to support Baby Feeding Centres in South Sudan.
This year it is estimated that 2.1 Million children under the age of 5 are facing acute malnutrition in South Sudan and this number is increasing. The SVP has a longstanding relationship with the people of Sudan and South Sudan and provides life-saving nourishment through three baby feeding centres in some of the most deprived areas of the country.
You are all invited to join members of the SVP in Menevia and Cardiff diocese on a sponsored walk along the picturesque sea-front in Swansea with mid-walk refreshments at the church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Mumbles. The walk starts at 2.00p.m. from Brangwyn Hall and commemorates also the wonderful work of Matthew Mulcahy who initiated this annual walk over 50 years ago.
If you can’t join us on the walk, please consider making a donation to this life-saving work - your donation really does make a difference.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
