Pad Project UK is a new registered charity based in Hertfordshire supporting people in the community who are living with incontinence.

In simple terms, the aim of Pad Project UK is to work just like a food bank individuals or organisations are able to donate items such as continence pads, commodes and anything involved in personal care management at a local hub and people in need are able to collect them.

When people have long term illness and have to go into a care home or sadly pass away, the task of clearing the equipment and materials they leave behind often falls to relatives and friends. Much of this equipment either ends up in land fill or charity shops that aren’t equipped to deal with these products. The Pad Project aims to help reuse as much of this material as possible.

The best of products and equipment that cannot be redistributed in the UK for legal or regulatory reasons will often be sent to humanitarian settings abroad.
