I'd like to raise funds in memory of my late wife Jenny Murphy who sadly lost her battle to cancer 4 years ago. I shall never forget the love and support we received during this difficult period, so I've decided to join the 40 strong team cycle to Paris over four gruelling days to raise money for City Hospice.

This will be Carter Lauren's fifth mammoth fundraiser for Cardiff's local hospice.

The City Hospice team cares for patients across the city, managing their symptoms and offering essential support. This means each person in their care can live their lives to the fullest for as long as possible.

The charity needs to raise more than £3.2 million each year to fund its services
