I have first hand experience of how tough it can be to get the right support for children with special education needs, and the stress it places on both children and their families.

So, this year I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12 October to raise funds for IPSEA. IPSEA offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support services to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The struggle facing thousands of families of children and young people with SEND can take years to resolve and often has a devastating effect on children and their families, so the advice and support IPSEA provides is vital.
