I am in the process of walking the entire 137 mile length of the Grand Union Canal, as well as the additional arms to Northampton, Aylesbury, Wendover and Slough. In the spirit of full disclosure, I should say that I have already completed just over 100 miles! I'm a bit late on the fundraising side! I hope that you may still be up for sponsoring me for the remaining 50 miles or so. I will do a 10 mile leg on Sunday 19th August, near Leamington Spa, then another later in the month, South East towards Daventry. The Slough arm, from Hayes, will be towards the end of the challenge, then the final leg will be from Heathrow, finishing at Brentford lock. I will post the date of that one on Facebook since I'll be buying drinks for donors at The Cricketers on Kew Green afterwards! You are also welcome to join me on that last leg!

Money raised for Churches Together in Hardwick and Weedon will go towards much needed repairs and maintenance of the fabric of our beautiful historic churches. Whether you are a churchgoer or not, I'm sure you will appreciate the beauty of these buildings, their history, and their importance to our community.
