Martin's fundraiser for Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs

Etape Caledonia 2024 · 12 May 2024 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This page is memory of our dear, much loved and missed son, Lewis Scougall.
As part of our fundraising efforts, I completed the Calidonian Etape 2024. This year 2025, I have once again signed up for the 85 mile event on 11th May to continue to raise funds and awareness of Scottish families affected by alcohol and drugs (SFAD)
Lewis, our 22 year old, beautiful, kind, caring and humorous son unexpectedly passed on 18th September 2023.
Lewis brought so much happiness and lovely memories that will last forever for everyone that knew him. We will always love and remember Lewis. A charming, caring young man that had so much more to give and live for.
Like some teenagers and adults, Lewis had his struggles in life. Our aim is to raise awareness, reduce stigma and support others like Lewis and their loved ones. To help support and bring learning to families with loved ones that are vulnerable or in need.
Mental health, drugs & alcohol misuse can become a major issue in today’s society, and we hope with our efforts we can make a difference in supporting the challenges families face in today’s world by raising funds for our specified charity: Scottish Families Affected by Drugs & Alcohol (SFAD)
Your donations are so much appreciated and with every donation made you can know this goes to help someone that so much needs this support.
In memory of our dear son, Lewis x.
Thank you so much!
Lewis's Dad, Martin.
Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity that supports anyone concerned about someone else’s alcohol or drug use in Scotland. We give listening support and information to many people and help them with confidence, communication, general wellbeing, and we link them into local support. We also help people recognize and understand the importance of looking after themselves.
