Dr Martin Shields, Mr Dennis Molloy, Mrs Laura McCaul, Mr Raymond MacSorley, Dr Lisa Neligan, Miss Aimee Kirk and Mr Michael McMullan are taking on an incredible and powerful journey with Irish rugby legend Rory Best and a team of business leaders – walking 9 marathons each in 9 days, between 12–20 September 2026, covering over 705 miles throughout Ireland in aid of Cancer Fund for Children.

Together, they will walk to help ensure that no child faces cancer alone, and they need your support to make it possible.

Each week across the island of Ireland, approximately 10 children and young people (aged 0–24) are diagnosed with cancer.

The emotional toll on families is immense. The funds raised through this challenge will enable Cancer Fund for Children to provide vital support so that children and families don't have to face their experience alone.
