I’m Running the London Marathon for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice 🏃♂️💙
This year, I’ve decided to take on one of the biggest challenges of my life — the London Marathon. But I’m not just running for the medal or the personal goal I am running to raise money for an incredible cause that’s close to my heart: Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
Julia’s House isn’t just a hospice — it’s a lifeline. They provide vital care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and just as importantly, to their families. Whether it’s in the hospice itself or in the comfort of their homes, Julia’s House offers expert medical care, emotional support, and much-needed respite, helping families face the unthinkable with strength, compassion, and dignity.
What many people don’t realise is that Julia’s House receives just a fraction of its funding from the government (only around 7%!) — the rest comes from people like you and me. Every pound donated helps fund nurses, carers, play specialists, and counselors — the real superheroes who make this work possible.
👉 If you’re able to, please consider sponsoring me. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards helping a child and their family feel less alone.
