Of all the charitable causes that Martina was passionate about, the one that affected her most during the last 10 years of her life was supporting people with learning disabilities and others who have experienced abuse, violence or trauma. Respond is a UK national charity that provides trauma-informed psychotherapy for people with learning disabilities as well as support for their families and carers.
