Story
On Sunday 14th April I'll be running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for Dravet Syndrome UK.
Dravet Syndrome is a severe, complex and rare epileptic syndrome that has affected my son Will since birth. He is now 14 and still has regular seizures, autism and learning difficulties. In a strange way we're quite lucky because many people living with this syndrome, and their families, have even more acute problems than Will. There is no cure for the condition and money raised will aid further medical research and practical support, including providing night time breathing and heart rate monitors.
