Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My 100,000 step challenge is raising much needed funds for an important and very old Coventry Charity. Since 1893 The Coventry Children's Boot Fund has been supporting children from Families in dire financial difficulties by providing good quality school shoes so that they may attend school. The Boot Fund knows that a decent pair of shoes for a child will improve school attendance, reduce truancy, improve self esteem and mental health, reduce bullying and as a consequence improve the education and life opportunities for those that need it most.

In today's tough economic climate the Coventry Children's Boot Fund is needed more than ever. Last year we approved 747 pairs of good quality school shoes for those children in need.

We don't judge .. it's the child that matters.
