I was diagnosed with this incurable disease called Myathnia Gravis in November 2022. Since then my life has completley changed. Loosing my job, my ability to communicate properly and the severe fatigue has completley changed the way i approach my day to day way off life.

I have to plan activities in advance so as not to upset the way the disease affects my body. If you google the auto immune disease "Myasthenia Gravis" you wil see how devastating this is. There are only roughly 15000 of us with this disease in the UK and the only charity that is dedicated to looking after us is MYAWARE. There is no NHS or Government funding for our charity and they solely rely on donations and fund raising events, such as the one im hopeing to complete this June.

To give you an idea it costs £200 per day for the specially trained nurses to look afer us, and many many more costs need to be covered to keep this amazing charity going and helping us.

Myself along with 13 other people, all raising money for their respected charities are leaving Calais on June 6th on embark on a road trip to Austria and back to raise as much money as we all can.Its going to be a massive challenge for us all and we are determined to complete it.

Please give as much or as little as you can and help raise awareness of my illness.
