Story
In April we lost our hero.
Martin was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy aged just 27 and needed a transplant. We were blessed to find a donor quickly which brought us 35 more years with our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandad, Son, Brother, Uncle & friend. Under the pioneering surgeon Asghar Khagani, Martin had a heterotopic(piggyback) transplant, which meant he lived with two hearts ,lucky for us....double the love.
Harefield hospital has been a huge part of our lives since then, as a family we cannot thank them enough for the care and kindness they gave to Martin over all those years.
We will never forget what you have given us. Please help us support this amazing hospital for all they have done and will continue to do for transplant patients.
In his memory, we will be completing the 10km 12 london bridges walk as a family ,united in love x
Anything you can give will be so gratefully received
thank you
