In 2012 our dad had a stroke, leaving him with left-side partial paralysis. After 3 months of rehabilitation in hospital he returned home. Re-adjusting to everyday life with his disability was made easier by the charity Different Strokes. Through their platform he gained a sense of community and belonging, making friends and receiving advice from people in similar situations.

This charity meant a lot to him, friends he made stayed friends until the end. He would be grateful for any donation, big or small.
