Story
I’m taking part in Clash of the Kits, a charity football match on 3 May 2026 at Fareham Town FC, to raise money for Rowans Hospice.
Rowans Hospice provides high-quality palliative and end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illnesses across the South East of Hampshire. Their highly trained team focuses on improving quality of life by managing physical symptoms while also offering psychological, spiritual, and social support to both patients and their loved ones.
Care is available 24/7, whether in the hospice or at home, and they also offer support for day visitors through their Living Well Centre.
Although their care is provided free of charge, Rowans Hospice is a charity, with around 78% of its funding coming from donations, fundraising, legacies, and retail shops. This makes community support and fundraising efforts vital to ensuring they can continue delivering their essential services.
