Story
One and All!
Myself and 8 colleagues from Corporate Business at Ecclesiastical are running the Cheltenham half Marathon together. For most of us this will be a distance first (including myself - having only ran 10.5km competitively before).
As a team we set an ambitious target of raising £10k during 2026. This is our largest event planned for the year complementing a number of smaller local initiatives that have already raised nearly £2,000 as of May.
Family members of a number of colleagues within our department have experienced the support, warmth and kindness provided by Sue Ryder in their time of need.
This will be the furthest I have run ever and what a great way to celebrate my 40th Birthday in October with raising money for a great cause.
Looking for a sub 2hr on the day.
A bit more about Sue Ryder..
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
