Matt Lapsley and Martyn Rose (a.k.a. Team Cupid Stunts) are taking part in this September’s Rust Bucket Rally. A 4 day, 2500 mile drive around Europe with 20 other teams in a £1000 knackered old Mercedes. Although we will be having a great time driving through breath taking scenery, the trip is gruelling and tiring as we will be on the road for around 15 hours every day. Plus we’ve got to put up with each other constantly for 4 days!!

This year we can choose our charity, we have chosen Cransley Hospice, a wonderful place that cares for people with life-limiting illnesses and ensures they receive the best care and comfort as they near the end of their battles.

We are raising money for Cransley in memory of Matt’s best friend, Stephen McGoldrick, who unfortunately passed away this month after a very long and difficult battle with cancer. Stephen was a son, dad, grandad, brother and a much loved man who will leave a big hole in the lives of everyone he knew and loved him, especially his close family and friends.

Stephen spent a great deal of time in Cransley Hospice and his family are extremely grateful to the amazing staff at Cransley for everything they did for him. Please help us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic hospice in the memory of a lovely man!! R.I.P. Stephen, Mon the Hoops!!!
