On Saturday June 1st 2024, Marvellous United have been invited to play Isaac's Eagles in a charity football match at Flitwick Football centre in Bedfordshire.

The event is to raise money for Great Ormond Street hospital where my brother Liams son has been receiving treatment and support since he was born. Liam has kindly allowed me my own team which will raise money for Pumping Marvellous.

The match will be part of a day which will include family fun, raffles and a bouncy castle. The day will end with an evening DJ, singer and bar.

The match will kick off at 15:00. We can confirm we are already going to be joined on the pitch by ex Luton stars Matthew Spring and Liam George, Luton based boxers Linus Udofia and Kay Prosper and last but not least superheroes in the form of Spidey and Lutons very own Deadpool.

Before my cousin Jamie died in 2020 he worked alongside Pumping Marvellous raising awareness of what life is like for someone living with Heart failure. Even when struggling himself Jamie pushed himself to help others.

The Pumping Marvellous Foundation are driven by the needs of heart failure patients, carers and family communities we serve. We get to the real crux of the problems, the problems that patients tell us they have. Our communities are large and we have superb interactions with them, we run the largest Facebook page dedicated to Heart Failure globally so we fully understand the needs and challenges they face. We develop and distribute patient information to the vast majority of NHS Heart Failure Teams in the UK.
