How to honour Arnold's anniversary? We decided it had to be fun, to involve his friends and family and be positive. Thank you to all you wonderful contributors for helping Cissie and I achieve this. North Devon Hospice, which was there for Arnold when he really needed it, also helped facilitate his wish, which was to die in the familiarity of home. On the walk, we had the best weather, with the sun fading into the sea beside us and the moon and stars coming out! We did it - and maxed our target, counting in Gift Aid - and all thanks to you, his friends and family!

I have never asked for sponsorship before, but as this month marks 10 years since our dear, funny Arnold died far too soon, we thought we'd like to do this night walk in his honour - and for the local Hospice, which was so very helpful to him with visits, yarns, wisdom and time in his last few months. I know he would be so chuffed to be remembered in this way and to be earning for the NDH 10 years on!
