Thank you for helping us raise awareness of Haemophilia and bleeding disorders. For all your encouragement and generous donations to support the HNI charity.

Team Jess' story.

Our 3 year old son Daniel has severe haemophilia A, a rare bleeding disorder in which the blood doesn't clot in the typical way because it does not have enough blood clotting proteins (clotting factors). If you have haemophilia you might bleed for a longer time after an injury than you would if your blood clotted properly. Haemophilia makes daily life more anxious for the suffer and for the family, with the constant worry that a small inconspicuous injury could result in a significant bleed. Thanks to a weekly injection of a prophylactic medication called Hemlibra, Daniel's clotting levels are raised to up to 15% of normal, without it he has less than 1% normal.

We are blessed to have the medical support and support of family and friends and that of the HNI charity, who have greatly supported us since Daniel's diagnosis when he was 9 months old.

Thank you.
