I will be taking part in the Great North Run in September with Team Mind in memory of my big brother, Shaun Byrne, who passed away earlier last year.

I can’t put into words how I feel right now as I am still very much trying to deal with the many stages of grief, but I wanted to do something good to raise money for Mind so that people suffering with their mental health have a place to go when things get tough. They are such an incredible charity!

I am so grateful to be able to take part in this enormous event to raise money for one of the most important, lifesaving, charities of all!
