I thought my running days were behind me… but apparently not!

I’m getting back into it, and I can’t think of a better reason to hit the road again than raising money for Take Her Lead.

Take Her Lead is on a mission to advance equity and diversity in cricket and increase participation for women and girls. By supporting our fundraiser, you’re helping make sure more women and girls have the opportunity to discover the joy that sport can bring.

My husband, Harry and I will be taking on the Chase the Moon 5K on 7 October, followed by the 10K on 25 November — so will be doubling the distance before we know it!

With two little girls of our own, we want them to grow up knowing that sport is a place where they belong, somewhere they can be encouraged to take part, have a go and dream big. Creating those opportunities in sport for the next generation of girls is something we care deeply about.
