This year I’m fundraising for the Altzeimers Society again. This is because my mother is suffering from this disease. It is the UKs biggest killer. It is devastating to see someone you care about suffer. This last year it has become that my mother does not know who I am anymore. She also suffers from hallucinations. We have had to care for her ourselves as she was wandering off in the night in her village and forgetting where she lives too. Obviously things will continue to deteriorate from here.

The Altzeimers Society are engaged in extensive research to eliminate this disease and offer help and support to suffers and their families. Although it is too late for my mother it will help others in the future
