Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

On 9th February we will be walking in memory of Lee Parker.

Lee was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour in May 2022 and died in May 2023. He faced his illness with bravery and determination and also dedicated himself to raising as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research.

We hope to do him proud by continuing his legacy and would like to thank everyone who is helping to organise this event, taking part on the day or sponsoring us.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
