Story
I'm raising money for Period Power by walking 10km every day for 10 days to help support their work tackling period poverty and helping girls and women access essential menstrual products.
In the UK alone, more than 1 in 5 people who menstruate struggle to afford period products. Around 2.8 million people are affected, forcing many to choose between buying food, heating, or sanitary products.
Research also shows that around 137,000 children miss school each year because of period poverty. Period Power works to support those affected by period poverty, helping provide access to essential products, dignity, education and support.
To raise awareness and funds, I'll be walking a total of 100 K
m over 10 days. Every donation can help make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support.
