Story
A Masjid is not only the house of Allah(swt) where people will pray their five daily prayers, but it is also the hub of the community, a place where people can and will go to learn the deen of Allah(swt), as well as turn to for help and support with any issues that they may have, as was the case in the time of the Prophet ﷺ.
2 years ago we had raised funds for and constructed our very first masjid together in Pakistan (as per the cover image of this fundraising page), with Masjid Abu Bakr now in daily use since.
I hope that with your kind support and generous donations that we can now all collectively donate towards constructing our second Masjid together but this time in the Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan.
I had specifically chosen to do so as although Masajid in other countries are less costly, the faiths on the ground vary, hence I had chosen Afghanistan, as not only is it a Muslim land, but one which has just recently been liberated.
Our teachers have always encouraged us to initiate, commit to, and encourage others to support such projects with our friends, families, loved ones, and the wider community so that we can all attain ajr together.
Due to all all of generosity over the last 7 years we have been able to provide food parcels, daily warm meals, iftar meals, Eid meals, school lunches to children, water pumps, water wells, water tanks, bottled water, wudhu areas, medical aid, hospital treatment, medical machinery, homes, winter aid, essential items for mothers and babies, clothing, heating, bedding, hygiene and sanitary products, child sponsorships, hifdh eduction, Qur’ans, prayer mats, self sustainability businesses, abayas, toys and gifts for Eid, as well as so much more to thousands of beneficiaries all around the world, hence I had now wanted for us to once again do something more long lasting, which will (Insha’Allah) be of immense benefit to us all once we have left the dunya, and the reward for which we will attain during a time when we will all need it the most.
£8,000 is required for the construction of the Masjid which will facilitate a minimum of 130 worshippers, and this cost will too include the carpet, lighting, as well as a wudhu area, and toilets.
We should neither wait nor hope that others will carry out such appeals on our behalf once we have passed away and left this dunya (as there is no such guarantee), but rather these are projects that we should be a part of and give to from our very own wealth whilst we are still in the dunya to do so.
“Whoever builds a Masjid, Allah(swt) will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Bukhari) 💛
Please do do donate if you are able to do so on this blessed day of Jumu’ah (which is course the best day of the week to give in sadaqah), even if it is just the £2 (the minimum amount that can be donated on JustGiving), as no amount is ever too small when given purely for the sake of Allah(swt), and it will also mean that you can be a part of this amazing opportunity that we have been given by Allah(swt) to construct our very own Masjid, which will (Insha’Allah) act as a form of sadaqah jariyyah for us all respectively.
This is too an initiative that we can donate towards on behalf of our family members, and those that have passed away, so that they can too reap the benefits of the Masjid once it has been constructed and is in use.
Thank you as always for all of your on going support of the charitable projects that I have committed to over the course of the last 7 years, and for your unwavering support in aiding those that are in dire need and less fortunate in the Muslim lands; JazakumuAllahu Khairan!
May Allah(swt) accept all of your donations, allow for them to weigh extremely heavily on your scale of good deeds, and ensure that the Masjid will be of something that you attain ajr for years to come, Ameen!
NB: The Masjid can take up to 12 months to construct from the date that the target is met, but I will of course provide updates as and when I receive them from One Nation, so should anyone wish to be sent this information directly, then please do send a message through on: 07398218344 or email admin@nlag.co.uk and I can then ensure I update yourself accordingly.
