On Sunday 10th August, 17 of our colleagues from Mason Advisory — along with their family, friends, and a few four-legged companions — while we won’t be summiting Snowdon itself (this time!), the route will still be a meaningful challenge — especially with little ones and pets in tow. Originally planned as a team wellbeing initiative, we thought it would be a great opportunity to raise money for our sponsored charity, Manchester Young Lives (MYL) 'Stepping Stones' appeal to raise funds to build a new adventure playground and continue supporting over 900 children and young people every year at ‘The Addy’..

We’ve set up this page to give our wider networks the chance to support us — every donation, big or small, will help make a real difference.

Why it matters:

All funds raised will go directly to an urgent and meaningful project — refurbishing the playground at The Addy, MYL’s busiest youth facility.

The Addy welcomes around 60 children per session and has over 900 young people registered annually

But the playground is now 22 years old and in urgent need of replacement

MYL is aiming to raise £500,000 through grants and donations to completely rebuild this vital, inclusive space

Your support will help ensure this much-loved playground can continue to be a safe and inspiring place for the children who need it most.
