Story
Between 2019 and 2024, my life was defined by a battle I couldn’t see but always felt - an eating disorder. It quietly took hold, shaping how I thought, felt and moved through the world. For years, it felt endless - a shadow I couldn’t escape. But standing here now, I see that story not as a defeat, but as the beginning of something filled with strength, purpose, and hope.
Eating disorders are often invisible - hidden behind a smile, misunderstood by the world, and deeply isolating. They strip away your sense of control and convince you that you’re alone. But thanks to BEAT, my family and I found help when we needed it most. They gave us strength, understanding, and the belief that recovery was possible - even when it felt miles away.
Now, I’m running the London Marathon to show that hope is real - and to stand beside those still fighting. Every mile is a statement: that life beyond an eating disorder exists, and it’s filled with strength, freedom, and possibility. I want every person struggling to know - you are not broken, you are not alone, and you can BEAT this.
This marathon isn’t just about running. It’s about raising awareness, shattering stigma, and helping BEAT continue their life‑changing work so more people can see the light waiting on the other side.
Please support me on this journey - every donation, share, or word of encouragement makes a difference. Together, we can turn pain into purpose and make sure no one ever has to fight this battle alone.
From surviving to thriving, this is my victory lap.
