This year, we’re proud to be supporting our charity partner Alder Hey Children’s Charity in a very special way – by taking on the TCS London Marathon 2026!

We’re thrilled that Alder Hey has secured 3 exclusive marathon places for Matalan colleagues. Together, we’ll be lacing up our trainers, pounding the pavements, and pushing through 26.2 miles – all to raise vital funds for Alder Hey.

Alder Hey is one of the UK’s leading children’s hospitals, caring for more than 330,000 young patients every year. Every pound raised will help fund life-saving equipment, vital research, and the little extras that make a big difference for children and families during their most difficult times.

Your support – no matter how big or small – will not only spur us on during training and on race day but will also make a real impact for thousands of children who rely on Alder Hey’s incredible care.
