Along with some of my awesome maternity colleagues, I will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on June 11th 2026.

We will aim to hike the 24 miles, including 5200ft of ascent, all within 12 hours.

We have chosen to take on this challenge and raise funds for our Maternity Bereavement Appeal, a cause very close to all our hearts ❤️

CHFT Charity's vision for the Maternity Bereavement Appeal is to ensure everyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death, who is cared for by CHFT, receives the support they need, in an environment that’s right for them.

The appeal aims to raise £500,000 so that CHFT Charity can:

- Create a comfortable, home from home, self-contained suite to be used by families who sadly experience a late pregnancy loss, with a birth or neonatal death.

- Offer grieving families the support and privacy they need, creating a welcoming environment, which include natural day light, without disturbance from other hospital wards or departments.

- To create a new, beautifully furnished Counselling Room within the hospital's Early Pregnancy Unit, as a place to support families experiencing early miscarriage.
