On Saturday 25th April, my daughter and I will be taking part in the world's greatest marathon with #Team Place2Be.

Nell and I will be running in memory of Will / Wilbur / Willis (and every other name he was ever known by!) He will always be Wilbur to us.

Wilbur died in May this year and we want to raise funds to support children, teenagers and families affected by mental health problems. Whilst our family continues to grieve his loss, we would like to find the positives that helping others via Place2Be will bring.

Place2Be is the UK's leading school-based mental health charity, providing support to children, families and school-based staff when they need it most.

One in five children and young people now have a probable mental health problem, and many more struggle with challenges from bullying to bereavement. Place2Be believe every child should have easy access to mental health support. Whenever they need it.
